Made in collaboration with a family of artisans from Indonesia, using the traditional wire-weaving technique of Anyaman Kawat. Woven like a textile, yet entirely made of steel, it resists immediate recognition. Its weave holds the gestures that formed it.
Its shape will gradually shift through future encounters with your body and the objects it will carry. Its transparency and lightweight structure, combined with the cool touch and sharp reflections of stainless steel, create a visual conundrum. Like solidity half disappearing. Like light dissolving into texture.
